Needing to become empty
our sweat too like blood;
Pouring out our whole selves
to be able to take up our cup.
Nothing of our old self
of our own will remaining;
Pouring our will on the ground
to become the Servant.
To be like Christ
in the garden that night;
To turn our lives over
to the perfect will of God.
