Those who studied the law
who should be able to read
the signs;
the blindness of the
Pharisees
denying He was the Christ.
Seeking to kill the
Messiah
the One who was foretold;
attempting to hold onto
power
not true sheep of His flock.
False teachers, robbers
leading the sheep astray;
lost, their guilt
remaining,
because they claim to see.
Denying the signs before
them
unable to believe, to see
Jesus;
the Messiah, Emmanuel
God here with us.
