Wanting to go back #home

Wanting to go back home

We may feel like the prodigal son

so damaged, so unworthy

we may feel we are too far gone

wanting to go back home;

but God is loving, our Father,

God runs to meet us out on the road.

We are never too broken, to damaged,

we are never too far gone;

God loves us, the prodigals, the broken;

God sent Christ to give us redemption

to make a path, a sacrifice, a way,

God runs to meet us out on the road.
