We are never too #lost - 2 - v2

We are never too lost - 2 - v2

We may be broken,

prodigal sons and daughters

wandering out in the world;

we may be lost, far from home;

but we are never too lost, irredeemable,

we are never beyond the love of God.

We may be broken,

but God waits for us, watching the horizon,

God runs to us out on the road;

God longs for us, yearning, wooing,

even while we are yet off in the distance

wanting us to come back home.

We may be broken,

yet we are God’s children,

beloved, sons and daughters with Christ;

God welcomes us when we turn, when we come,

when we turn from the road, when we accept Jesus,

God calls us, joyful, to come back home.
