A Coalition of the Willing, but,
Willing to do what?
Gathering in meetings,
releasing weasel-word statements,
gathering, posing for photographs,
patting each other on the back
so proud of themselves…
while so many are dying
waiting for action, for the Willing
to be Doing, Standing, Fighting
for Justice, for Ukraine, for children,
for all the innocent martyrs, victims,
those in their bathtubs, in corridors,
for all those hiding in subway stations
filled with the smoke of terror,
of Russia’s relentless genocide…
lies, false promises, fake allies,
those aspiring to gain courage…
These brave people need resolve,
a Coalition of the Doing,
Standing with Ukraine,
to embolden the Willing,
to take that step forward,
to finally act, to move forward,
beyond their place of comfort…
Recognizing the cost of delay,
ignoring the acts of the aggressor,
sowing seeds in their own countries,
because hybrid war is war, coming,
if the Willing are not Doing,
their time will come…

Khrystyna Boychuk, Officer, National Guard of Ukraine, called for more weapons for Ukraine and more decisive support of European states: “We cannot hold the front line forever. Ukrainians will keep fighting, but if you want the front line to stay where it is, your time has come. We need weapons, we need equipment, we need technologies, air defense, we need responsibility. Shared responsibility.”
