Delay is Murder – v2

Sanctions are needed now
to stop their bloodshed,
to give rest to these people
under the threat of genocide,
no rest for them day and night
suffering because of appeasement
giving Putin ever more time…
 
Delay is murder, ongoing horror,
fire falling from the skies, missiles,
relentless attacks, drones, genocide,
seeking to destroy the resolve, unity,
the will of these good people,
a miscalculation in real-time,
sealing their own fate…
 
Sanctions are needed now,
not just air defense systems,
for there is no such thing as balance,
no whataboutisms, two actors equal,
when genocide is being committed.
We much choose the victim.
We must stop the aggressor…
