The Book of Life in heaven
moments of my life
cataloged for judgment
on the scales of the Father
the one Righteous Judge…
 
a ledger of my debts
the harm done to me
every sin, no matter
how small we see them,
sentencing me to death…
 
only through God’s forgiveness
The one sacrifice of Jesus
We can stand before God righteous
washed clean of our sin
every debt paid by Christ…
