by grace, through faith – v2

We walk different paths
many people, two flocks…
We united in our failures,
our struggles of the flesh,
our sins against man and God…
 
By grace, through faith,
We rise from death…
We are brought into family…
We become one body
in the sacrifice of Christ…
 
Out of many we are one
through the blood of one Savior…
We who were far away,
like a prodigal, a wayward son,
We are welcomed home…
 
By grace, through faith
We gain the inheritance
the promise of God to
our father Abraham,
who believed by faith…
 
We walk different paths…
We are all saved by grace
not by works that we may boast,
but through our faith in Christ
our risen Savior and Lord…
