Shepherd the flock of God

Lower yourself into the body
Become one with the sheep
Shepherd the flock of God
From the center, its life…
 
Do not put on airs
Seeking worldly power
Live within the body,
Dwell with the sheep…
 
Abide as the shepherd
In the watches of the night
A servant to the people
Those charged to protect…
 
Lower yourself as a shepherd
A calling, not a position,
Serve fully, completely,
Within the body of Christ…
