dead in the world
in my sin
a branch ready for the fire
far from the vine...
 
gathered by the gardener
plucked from the fire
cut, pruned,
grafted within...
 
alive in the vine
filled with the Spirit
growing, bearing fruit,
that I may live...
 
connected, abiding,
within Jesus
a branch from the fire
alive again...
