take heed, listen,
give your heart, your will
to His words, to God’s love,
to the truth in scripture
to God’s protection,
to how He provides...
 
do not be forsaken
within the flesh, our bodies,
the false gods of the world
the blessings of vapor
the folly of wealth
the delusions of abundance
that lead to the grave...
 
come to me, oh God,
fill me with Your bounty
Your word on my heart
Trusting in You only
My hope in this world...
