You will be free, Ukraine!

I know this in my spirit...

I join in prayer with Taras

in this time of struggle,

under threat from Muscovy,

the horde from the east...

I know your people’s resolve...

I am certain of Ukraine’s victory,

that a just peace will come:

your flag on every flagpole,

fields of wheat and sunflowers

beneath an azure sky...

You will be free, Ukraine!

This evil will not prevail.

Russia will be defeated...

Satan is in a bunker,

the madman is in the Kremlin...

He will be overthrown...
