Killing the Son

Did they realize they would be successful

that they would live out the parable

that they were the hired hands

and Christ was the Son

not just killing prophets

emissaries of the owner

they were plotting

to kill the Son of God

the unfaithful servants

these hired hands

leading the people astray

greedy for these lands

they are damned

they will be cast out

replaced by another

who will act in faith

submitting to God

faithful in their actions

safe from all harm
