To acquire knowledge and context
of why things are as they are
How they fit together
Language, history, politics, science
Eat from the buffet, some from each bar

Share in the discussion, discourse, debate
But rankle at the papers, the rules
The rubric for sharing
Because I’d already gotten
What I came for
and rarely cared
If the grader knew
It too.
