Grass and needles and weeds
stirred by arms and sticks
in the pink pool in the yard
The giggle twins
working together again.
Pitch of this
and a pound of that
balance just right,
clear by the sound
of the singing.
Shake the dirt from
the roots, discard the rest
dead bodies on the walk
Dirt Soup now.
Mmm, just right
