There was a crawlspace
under the addition,
the master bedroom,
a small cut out
into the larger basement,
maybe three feet high
A maw about eye level,
for a eight year old
not full sized, dry dirt and rock
large smooth rock floor
a great place for army men,
Tonka trucks,
and lots of spiders
An opening too
for curtains and shows
with imagination
and imaginary partners
