For some, a piece of paper
a momentary achievement
for her, a different moment,
importance to the day.
A wall, a barrier, a breaking through
a curtain torn, ripped away
A former existence, a sense of self
reframed in the completion
the fulfillment of a step, a doorway
A threshold crossed, with success
Excelling in the work, growing
Growing in the process
preparing for another journey
a new pathway, a call
for her life
Completing one task,
ready for the next one
just around the corner
