Offertory

Special music
wafting to the rafters
into our hearts
clear notes, loving song
filling the sanctuary,
as we join together
to give a little bit back
a little bit for the work
of the church, its missions
a bit back to the Creator
the Savior, the Redeemer
the Giver of life,
of the gifts we have
returning from whence it came
acknowledging the sovereignty
the grace, the nurturing
of our God
