The trailer
heading north
ten canoes
ready for another adventure.
plates on the van
from out of state
hearing away from city
into the wild
untamed northern wood
a week or more
without schedules, cares
ready for water
tug of muscles
in a common purpose
joining out in creation
clearing daily clutter
making new memories
on unspoiled waters
up in the north woods
