They left all, on the shore, in the boats
left all to follow Jesus,
to leave behind family, lives
to follow the preacher, the prophet,
the man on the shore
We too are called, right where we are
where we live, where we work
to leave our lives behind
to abandon our own plans,
our own wills
to leave the boats,
what we have known
and be fishers of men
