Before their knock
on the door of his host
a vision from the creator
redeeming, opening the door
letting the dogs, the unclean,
the profane no more
able to sit at the table
all to be fed, all worthy of the feast
all to receive the grace
at the one table
prepared, invited
a way made in the path
A welcome ready
even before the knock on the door
