A prayer, a wish, a choice
to be like Mary, to choose
turn from this world, to the will of God
a grander plan, unseen
to cast my lot, my life
on the wind of the father
the path he alone can see
to trust my way, my journey
his guiding hand
to be his servant, my oil ready,
awake, for his coming
alert, to be worthy grain
to be harvest at the end of the age
