Through Christ Jesus, and his gift of himself
all the difference, all the change, all the growth
all the joy in my life come from this act of obedience
this gift of the Father, carried out by his son
This child growing to manhood, to ministry
to teaching and healing, to a following of disciples
to a death on the cross, in submission to the prophesy
Rising from death, from the grave
rising to bring salvation
if we but call on his holy name.
Enter into the father’s kingdom, come.
