Christ’s hands
one pair of hands
precious hands
in creation, in the waters
at the beginning
Descending from heaven
the hands of an infant
growing to adulthood,
the hands of a carpenter
Washed in the Jordan,
walking in ministry
healing hands, his touch
changing lives
carrying the nails, our sin
Hands to comfort,
to welcome us home
at the end of the age
