A Slave when I was Called

God pulled me
up from the pit
a slave to the earth
when I was called

A slave to Christ
to the way of the cross
yoked with my Master
that I may walk

Up onto the waters
bold in my faith
seeking him always
all of my life

Going as the Spirit leads
words to share
giving my witness
all of God there
