The end of our Lenten journey
forty days on this path
seeking to walk more nearly
to our exalted head
Christ rising victorious
up from the stone cold grave
boasting of glory in heaven
not his dying day
Not in ashes and sackcloth
not in fasts or moaning
the end of our Lenten journey
coming in shouts of victory
