What they thought their path was
their purpose of the last three years
all that they believed in
all of this had disappeared, vanished
in the day of Calvary, on Golgotha
the Son of God crucified
their master in a tomb
afraid of the Jews, the Romans
not knowing what to think
all a blur, and weeping
and then Christ entered in
into the locked room with them
grief transformed to bliss
