through the valley of the shadow of death

Life, in our current walking,
throughout our entire life
through the valley of the shadow of death
the edge of the darkness, yet in the light
the light needed to define the darkness
God here with us, ever
holding our hands, our lives
as we walked through the shadows
all the days of our life
