But who now can count his kin

Christ has gone from the earth
taken up to heaven
no offspring of his own
for he was crucified
But who now can count his kin
his sisters and brothers
when those who are faithful share his name
Jesus, the risen Christ,
saving us from ourselves
offering the gate to life
