to be Matthias for later generations

Our prayer as those later born
after the time of Christ
to thank those who followed
who chose to follow Christ
those chosen by God
those who remained faithful
may we be emboldened, empowered
to be Matthias for later generations
all those who will come
all that in time follow
all future disciples
to the ends of the earth
