be real with God in our prayers

do not bring pretense
a muffled, watered-down you
be real with God in our prayers
letting it all hang out

share your true thoughts
God knows them anyway
you are only fooling yourself
come the judgment day

do not put on masks
expose your true heart
come to God in prayer
he can lift you up
