If we are approach our
journeys differently,
if we stand in the Garden
with God
seeing the world more as
He does
a living work ever in
progress
If we see ourselves as
partners
as custodians of the
world
but not just of the
vineyard
of the soil, the earth,
as well
What if we saw the Garden
as the soul of every
person
the soil the heart of
each human
of all the people on
earth
We are to water with the
Word
witnesses to the life of
Christ Jesus
speaking the truth in the
scripture
and the revelation of
God’s love
We must take time to
prepare
to nurture the living,
damaged soil
knowing that each heart is
a vineyard
and that our hope is from
above
God’s message is the seed
for the soil
revealed in the grace of
our Savior, the Christ
our only hope of eternity
is in God’s message of
love
We must take time to
prepare
to tend these many
fragile gardens
that we may one day
present a harvest for God
when we share in his work
of love
