Praise be to God
in each second,
each moment
with us, guiding,
on life’s journey
never leaving us
never turning away
walking here with us
Praise be to God
for the ancient stories
for the scripture he left
for us to read, to follow
with us in the Spirit
indwelling, sharing
walking with us here
on our journey below
Praise be to God
for provision, protection
for guiding each step
on our journey here
standing beside me
in each second,
each moment
seeking the best
in each breath of my life
