I want to remain faithful
to walk in the light
to be true to my calling
walking the path of God
yet in my decisions, my
walk,
I sin, I miss the mark,
everything I do, every
word I speak,
is driving me away from
God
I want to remain faithful
to be true to God’s call
to walk in the way of
Christ
the way that leads to
life;
but I fall away, I go
astray
I follow the world, the
call
of my sinful self, my
nature,
driving me away from God
