At Shechem,
where
Abraham
made
an altar,
where
he worshiped
gathering
the tribes
the
leaders, the elders
seeking
to remind them
of
the covenant with God
of
the journey of Abraham
of
the gift of his son Isaac
how
God walked with them
in
the desert, the wilderness
how
God brought them into
the
long Promised Land
