They found the tomb empty – v3

They found the tomb empty
His grave could not hold Him;
The angels had rolled the stone away
Christ was alive, risen from the dead.

God gave life, rebirth,
new life to our Savior;
Risen from the dead
to show us the Father.

The Son is risen from the grave,
He is now seated in heaven;
Our joy is complete
we are free at last.
