helicopters
seeds of maples,
many colors, sizes,
wing samaras twirling,
spinning, falling, blowing,
raining down from their branches,
to be blown asunder, guided,
to fertile ground, to sprout,
to bear fruit, to thrive,
somewhere else
to grow…
