A lifetime commitment,
not a passing fancy,
staring at what we must do,
to sharpen each other’s iron…
 
A lifetime commitment,
to change our paths boldly,
to share our lives together,
to sharpen each other’s iron…
 
A lifetime commitment,
to care, to love one another,
to hold each other accountable,
to sharpen each other’s iron…
