Neutrality is a myth, a lie – v2

In the exigency of this moment,
in the crisis that they continue to face,
too many years lost in appeasement,
in walking on eggshells, on broken glass,
barefoot, watching their every step…
 
Neutrality is a myth, a lie,
every delay is real escalation,
emboldening the terror, their evil,
existential threats grow greater,
with every moment, each breath…
 
Cries of the innocents,
this nation, their people,
require bold action, resolve,
to meet this present moment
to stand in the gap, the breach…
 
The world order failing, weak,
Impotent against their evil, war,
while terror and genocide are rampant,
too long have they stood alone, resolute,
while the world waits for their true courage…
