Waking with the sunrise
Joy, I am above the dirt,
Beautiful flowers beyond my deck…
 
The world full of chaos
Struggling as it always was
But smiling through the places
The steps of our walk…
 
People who bring us happiness,
A comedian piercing my sadness
The hurt that I feel…
 
Growing up in the world
Moving me to face the truth
The struggle, the lies,
The things we cannot control…
 
Peace in my spirit
A humorous attitude
Joy in each step
At rest in this world…
