Pride is illusory,
a delusion, a weapon,
a means to separate us,
from ourselves, from God…
 
we think we are in control,
that our strength is within us,
but we deny God’s presence,
His hands upon our lives…
 
Every good gift comes from God,
our gifts, our talents,
We stand on His grace,
His hands on our lives…
 
Believing the lies,
that we are self-made men,
separates us from one another,
from ourselves, from God…
