a prayerful reminding
binding us in worship
living out the dreams
of Martin, of our elders.

we must be the change
the hopes of our people
the change we want to see
no exceptions, no dividing walls.

everyone, anyone, welcome
part of one circle
our nation, our family,
one nation under God.

sucking life from us

unwarranted trouble

tearing us down

fear can be healthy

warning us of danger

but fear can immobilize

chains on our lives

only in trusting God

we escape these chains
