to divine appointments

moments in our lives

when we make a difference

in our lives, in the world

Bringing change, comfort

to other lives, standing in the breach

with those who struggle

offering them hope

a way forward

our hope in our Lord.

remembering the calling on each of us

we must never forget the sacred trust

the role each of us are called to fulfill

as the Spirit gifts us, as God calls us

we must remember the calling on each of us

to stand with our neighbors

to speak out as we are able

to be mindful of God’s calling

God’s commission on our life.

Our help comes from the Lord

Creator of heaven and earth;

We are able to stand in trials

to be at peace in the storms.

Our help comes from the Lord

our Savior, our brother;

We can go out boldly

to continue His work.

His Spirit deep within us;

We are to proclaim

to share His love, our witness.
