Her challenge to him
testing his faith
a moment in a movie,
but part of real life
His answer to her
to her a surprise
the moment when God’s calling
was right in his eyes
God is the most important
the focus of his life
nothing else compared
to God’s call to us
The challenge to us
to stand tall in our faith
to choose as he did
God’s gift of grace.
