Priests to the Temple – v3

Priests to the Temple
carrying their offerings
kings ready, approaching,
to lay down their crowns;
Coming to Jesus
to pay Christ homage
offering their gifts
to the babe of the manger
to the infant-King

Priests to the Temple
completing their journey
faithful to the Star
to the call of God;
Coming to Jesus
to pay Christ homage
offering their gifts
to the babe of the manger
to the infant-King

worship Your Holy Name – v2

The Word of God
the whole of my soul
my spirit in awe
knowing my clay,
all too well,
falling down before You
worship Your Holy Name
Your love, Your presence
falling down upon us
Your Son, Your Spirit,
giving us hope, Your promise
giving us our Savior, Redeemer,
the One who came to save us

Jesus, Yeshua

Jesus, Yeshua
God who walked among us
the ancient promise fulfilled
in the babe of the manger
God’s presence descended
in flesh just like us
the Lord God, Immanuel
He had come to save us

a pasture for lost sheep

a hospital for those sick
a half-way house for those in prison
a pasture for lost sheep
who are yet seeking the Shepherd
a home for those searching
seeking love, connection
wanting to belong, to be completed
within the family

what words cannot capture

what words cannot capture
the enormity of God
one God, three persons
but so much more
many names for God
of the creation, of salvation
God’s presence with us
one God, eternal
beyond all of this
