the same God - 2

the same God
in the beginning
in the present
to the end of time
the same God
I pray to
wrestling with Jacob
the same stars watched
Job at night
both eternal
from earthly perspective
the stars and God
from the beginning
until the end of time.

the stars eternal

science may argue
but stars are eternal
the constellations Job saw
in the skies now
as at the beginning
comfort in knowing
the same constellations
gracing the sky
since the earth was young
references made
to the southern hemisphere
a mystery of how
they would have
known them back them
