sow seeds to the Spirit

sow seeds in love

from our hearts, singing,

glory above, worship

a message of trust

love revealing, Christ

God’s message of love, open

sowing seeds richly

upon this earth, scattered;

but sowing seeds to the Spirit

sowing seeds in love

a harvest for the kingdom

for the glory of God

a sanctuary for the kingdom

a sanctuary for God

a place of safety and nurture

a place to know the Lord

Make me a sanctuary

to hear and know the Word

living in me richly

a hope for the world

you harvest what you sow

sow your seeds wisely

walking on the earth

a harvest to the Lord

sow to the Spirit

not to the world

sow wisely all of you

sow to the Lord

sow seeds carefully

you harvest what you sow.

if you sow to the flesh

you only harvest thorns.

sowing seeds to the flesh

sowing seeds upon the earth

soil of the flesh

sowing seeds selfishly

not into love, to the Spirit

sowing seeds to the flesh

a harvest of thorns

sowing to the earth

lost in the world

sowing seeds to the flesh

not focused on consequence

harvesting thorns

sowing seeds to the flesh

not sowing seeds lovingly

instead harvesting thorns

to grow a harvest

unto the Lord

our seeds sown

richly, freely,

to the Spirit

to our Lord

our seeds scattered

not planted in the ground

into the earth, soil

scattered, open

to grow, a great harvest
