Working directly, seeking something special,
stated as a daily goal, a purpose,
to find something of beauty,
to stop what I was doing
to see the hand of God
something in nature.
Catching a glance, purple, color,
from my peripheral vision
driving home from the city
flowers beyond the sidewalk,
a short walk from home,
within close reach.
