God is right with us
as a nation, as a people
despite our problems
shifting sands of time
the hurt in the fabric
God in this struggle
to help and to comfort
together we must bow and
pray
for His holy purpose
Lift them up Lord,
our neighbors who are
hurting,
send healing rain
power to sooth them
Send life-giving water
send them Jesus,
the Spirit, the Word;
May we hold fast to Your
path
our way through this world
