help me to walk my prayer to you
to follow the path that you have laid out for me
my journey just begun, a little later than some
guide me in your paths, in your ways
lead me to the center, to the truth,
your truth for my life
walk with me, shelter me
nurture the bud growing into flower
water me, plant me
deeply in your good soil
like the pearl of great value
the treasure planted in the ground
seek me Lord, join my spirit
with yours, my advocate
carry me Father when I fall
stride beside me Brother
let me share your yoke
pray with me, as I walk
your prayer paths
